Empowering through design
Women’s Support Network (WSN) is a concept project, designed to represent an organization passionately dedicated to empowering and supporting women. Its mission reflects a commitment to ensure women’s voices are heard and their rights are upheld in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The WSN draws inspiration from the powerful narrative of Bell Hooks: “Feminist Theory”. The logo, mirroring the book cover, and the organization’s slogan, “From Margin To Center”, are a reflection of the profound impact this work had in the feminist revolution,
VISUAL IDENTITY
Building the brand
In shaping Women’s Support Network visual identity, I embraced a vibrant color palette featuring bright red contrasting with soft pink and black, complemented by hints of yellow and purple. This palette choice infuses strength, compassion and empowerment into the design system.
For typography, I combined clean and modern headings (Helvetica Neue) with the timeless elegance of Lora. This fusion focus on the commitment to provide accessible support and information, while keeping it visually appealing.
In adition, I incorported illustrations that represent diversity and inclusion. Beyond the visual interest, illustrations instead of photographs convey the sense of anonymity and data protection that an organisation like this needs to ensure.

After the visual identity was established, I created a series of awareness posters, event promotion posters, and a comprehensive brochure.
The materials resonate with WSN’s mission, helping to spread messages of hope and community solidarity. The designs embody WSN’s commitment to accessible support and information.
Digital Design
UI/UX
In the digital realm, I set out to create experiences that reflect the WSN’s commitment to accessible information and support. From user flows that guide visitors through the platform with ease, to wireframes that lay the foundation for a user-friendly interface, and final layouts that bring the organisation to life. My focus has been on ensuring that those who visit the platform can find the resources they need effortlessly. support and information.
